delicious.

Will's first Popsicle... He didn't really like it at first.

Then he decided he liked it and stole Morgan's out of her hand.

I love how it ran down his arms and left stains that took a couple baths to get rid of.

I wanted to get an updated picture of all the kids together, but I just couldn't get them to cooperate.... This is the best I could get.

Actually this is my favorite. It's so us. Someone is always picking their nose or eating something disgusting.

Will's new favorite thing to play with - dirt.

And he loves to eat it too. Yum.

where we've spent our friday nights for the past couple months...

Here - at the super clean, super classy rec center. I love the rec center - $1 to join and then super cheap classes for the kids. This go around we signed the kids up for basketball.

Will's favorite toy right now is balls. Any kind - big or little. We play catch for a large chunk of time everyday and he just giggles and giggles. He is so much like Miles. Miles would only play with balls when he was little - no trains, cars, or other boy things - just balls.

The hope is they will grow up to have the same basketball skills as their father... I mean just look at the air this man gets.... I bet his feet are at least 8 inches off the ground! Miles says, "dude, that's so high!"

he's a climbin' fool

Will's favorite thing to do lately is play on the stairs. He's a speedy little guy and if I look away for a second he goes right for them.

Will really wanted to try out his new climbing skills on the slide. He'd get halfway up and fall to the bottom where he'd try again.... and again.... and again....

Eventually he got tired of falling, but he couldn't stop trying. He just kept trying and trying... I like his determination, but the poor kid was just torturing himself.

Ah - I love this age!! SO CUTE!

our visit to zion

We spent the first week of May in Utah visiting family and friends. I was super nervous to fly with Will since he hates sitting still, but the kids ended up being fabulous! It didn't hurt that on the way there we had the entire back half of the airplane to ourselves. We let them crawl all over the plane and Will loved it.

The flight attendant made Will wear headphones to listen to Elmo since it's airline "policy". We wouldn't want to disturb the 10 empty rows of seats now would we... So annoying! Sometimes people like to be difficult just because they can. The headphones only lasted a few minutes until he realized they were on his head and he kept pulling them off... Then he just got frustrated that he couldn't hear the movie and moved on to other things.

Will met my family for the first time (except Grandma & Grandpa who came to Ohio when he was born). Here he is with my twin sister's little baby Easton. Easton is so cute!! And happy!! And easy going!! And just the easiest baby ever!!

While we were in Utah Brooke and I turned 30... Yes 30... Sad I know. We celebrated all day long... We started by taking the kids to Boondocks. It was so fun! There's an arcade.....

Laser tag!!

Water spraying bumper boats.....

Go Carts....

Morgan and I held the lead for a while, then Mike and Miles snaked in front for the victory.... Dirty dogs.

Will cheering us on.

Grandma Beckstead and Will.

While the big kids were at school we took the little kids to Dinosaur Park. It was awesome!!

Morgan with the girl cousins... She LOVES them, and they are so cute with her. Katie and Morgan have always had a special bond and ended up spending a lot of time together.

We spent a couple of days visiting our friends The Nadaulds. I was lame and didn't take a single picture - not even of their new 3 week old baby Nathan... I am horrible... We had the best time seeing them and The Brostroms... I really miss them. Terribly. We went out to dinner and the kids picked up right where they left off. It was fabulous. I did manage to get one picture of Jake and Luke when they came to my parents house to see us after we got in. Here's the kids playing together for the first time in an entire year. They were so happy to see each other!!

It was a great vacation.... until the last day when Miles decided to get the stomach flu.... and then passed it onto me 12 hours before our flight. I tell you there's nothing like packing and flying all day with an 11 month old while you have the stomach flu.... It's awesome puking in the bathroom at the airport... and it's awesome sitting in a packed airplane with throw-up breath with a sleeping baby resting on your upset belly for a solid 3 hour nap... ON MOTHER'S DAY.... It was awesome. Then being completely exhausted and finally getting home and falling into bed only to be woken up an hour later to a fussy baby that ends up puking all over the bed... Let's just say we all got it and it was a rough few days. A very rough few days! At least we can now say, it was all worth it.

Half Marathon

It's over!! Mike finished his 3rd and I finished my 2nd half marathon. It always feels good to be done. We both reached our goal time and feel okay about our run... just okay.... I wanted to finish a couple minutes faster, but I'm not kicking myself about it. The race was much harder than the last time I ran it - more uphills and we were in the rain for about half the race. It was brutal. Definitely the hardest run I've ever experienced. But we battled and came out victorious.

I just can't catch Mike no matter how hard I try. My man always beats me...

Here are the ladies (except Casey - we couldn't find her for the picture :( bummer)
My Saturday training runs were with the 4 girls on the right and Casey. It was so fun running with these girls - I love talking and running, actually for me it was listening and running. I'm not a big talker when I run, but I love listening to everyone telling stories and chime in once in a while. Kristi did a good job keeping us entertained with stories!! Love you ladies!
