Morgan and her roommate Kate just wrapped up a week at EFY Provo. They stayed for 5 days and 5 nights in the dorms at BYU. Morgan came home just beaming and loved every second of it. I love that she had such a fun time all while having her testimony of Jesus Christ strengthened. I just can't take her growing up and doing all these adult things without me. 😭 We really missed her at home, even thought she didn't miss us one little bit. She has a ton of her own pictures, but these are the ones Lori sent me from when she dropped them off.

Bountiful Parade
We gathered the troops and went to battle the Bountiful Parade on Main Street for Pioneer Day. I went down early and staked us out an awesome spot right next to Baskin Robbins. It's going to be our spot from now on!
Our kids have such great friends. I just love them all.

Mom turns 75!
I love this picture of my mom. She turned 75 and that's definitely reason to celebrate. She is such an amazing example to me and has given me so much to strive towards as a grandma. She is a genealogy guru and I have no doubt that when she gets to the other side of the veil, there is going to be a line a mile long of ancestors to thank her.
My dad took all of us adults to dinner to celebrate and then we headed back to my house for dessert. I just love how these pictures turned out.
Funny Brenda and Casey left this worm in our front flower bed on their way out. It makes me smile every time I got in the front yard. 😂

Hugh Jackman Concert
For Christmas Mike gave me tickets for the two of us to see Hugh Jackman at Vivint Arena in Salt Lake. I am not a big concert goer, but I was pumped for this... It was phenomenal! Hugh was in Salt Lake doing 2 shows, and we went the first night. When I got home I immediately went online and checked if they had tickets for the next night so I could take the older kids. They used their own money and bought their own ticket. I think it was the first concert for all three of them. They LOVED it too! I was lucky and got to go 2 nights in a row!
Mike took Ivy and Meg on a date of their own while we were gone. It looks like they had a good time with daddy.

Just how we are...
This candid picture was taken by a neighbor (Millie Bahr) at Costco and texted to us.... Here's why I love it... It captured our family perfectly. I think our family is a little unique in some ways. Mike and I have created it that way. We are a family that does everything together. When we need to shop, we all go. When we run an errand, we all go. When we go for a walk, we all go. When we watch a movie, we all watch. When there is a youth activity, we all go. etc.
Obviously there are times I go grocery shopping or exercise while kids are at school, and Mike and I try to go on dinner dates with just the two of us, but for the most part, when we aren't in school or work, we are all together. We try not to leave the kids home on electronics or doing their own thing if we are doing something they can come along on. I think it has made us who we are and it's created strong relationships. I didn't really think much about it, until I really thought about it and noticed it's not common among most families I know. I give full credit for this to Mike. When the kids were little, I'd get overwhelmed taking them out places all the time, and I'd say things like, "you just go", or "I'll just run real quick", and Mike would say, "no, let's all go." It became a habit because Mike wanted our family to be that way. Now years down the road, I'm so grateful to him for having this mindset. It truly has molded our family and created a strong unity.
This particular day in the photo, I had to get in a training run, so I did my run and Mike met me with the kids at Costco so we could all shop together. This picture captured us roaming Costco just enjoying our time out together. It's a picture that could have been taken on so many different occasions. I love it!

Mike's office
Mike has changed offices... again! He needed a picture for his wall, so for Father's Day I gave him this. It's a picture I ordered that was taken in the Sacred Grove and then I had a frame made for it. I think it looks awesome in my hard-workin' man's office!

Will's turn for braces
Will is only 10 and it's already time for braces. He's had his expander in for a few months (the expander will be in for 6 months total) and today they added braces. So he'll have his expander and braces on together for a few months until the expander comes out. What a tough kid. I'm loving that smile already 😁
