Island Park with Emmie & Sadie

We’re heading up to Island Park and this time it was Ivy & Morgan’s turn to bring a friend. Ivy brought Emmie and Morgan invited Sadie.

Field Day- Face Painting

Nicole and I signed up to help at the face painting booth for field day.  We are all about the shade!!  

The day before we got together to practice.  I totally can do a bumble bee 🐝.

Best day of the school year! It means summer is here!!!

Ivy keeps tumbling 🤸‍♀️

Ivy had her cute tumbling performance today.  She is by far the cutest and most talented tumbler out there!!

Will Club V

The season is wrapping up. Will was so fun to watch this year.  His team works together so we’ll, not one selfish player on this team, and they’re all improving so much.

Lantern Festival

Miles and Erin went to the latern festival this weekend.  I’m so jealous. I want to go!!  Look how beautiful 😍 

Mama Panya’s Pancakes

Folktale Friday for the 2nd graders. I read the book Mama Panya’s Pancakes and we talked about sharing and contributing. Then we made some pancakes and even learned a little Kiswahili (a language from Kenya). Such fun!!  I love 2nd graders. Morgan came to help too which made it extra fun! I love having her home!

Will Flag Football (7th grade)

This is the only picture I have from the season.  Oops!  Will and his Club V buddies decided to play flag football this year.  They all are such great athletes. I think they had a fun time and didn’t take it too seriously. 

Island Park- Dewinterizing

Time to get the Share Shack ready for guests and see how it fared the winter.  We have a bunch of supplies to haul up, including the new ping pong table, so we left the kids home went up to work.  This minivan is better than any pickup truck!!! 

Oh wait… what’s that buried under that pile of stuff?  

Will wanted to come help so he found a nook and came along!  Drive careful Mike 😬

We survived the winter!  Mike is up clearing the roof and patching holes.  We’re ready to go!

We went to check on things at the Nadauld Nest next door and found a fun surprise when we went in…

This little guy has been enjoying himself in a warm cabin this winter, eating all the chocolate and s’mores in the cupboard.  We had a fun afternoon trying to get him out.  He did not want to leave. 😂

It felt like we were the only people on the island, so peaceful and calm.  Is there anywhere more beautiful than this?

Mother’s Day

Mike has got Mother’s Day down!  Check out this gluten free meatloaf!! It was amazing 

The entire dinner was tasty! GF rolls, meat loaf, potatoes, salad and brussel sprouts!  He did everything right! 

Then off to visit grandma!

The girls rode their scooters over. It was fun but took a bit longer to get there and back. 😉
