Meg went off to play with Uncle Mike for a little while… Uncle Mike is the sweetest guy around, he just doesn't look like it to little kids. Will called him "the bad guy" for years :) Uncle Mike is always so nice to Meg and tries to get her attention when we're together, but until last week, she wouldn't give him the time of day. It was pretty cute to watch them play, and yes, it was a PRETTY BIG DEAL.

We went with some friends to watch Bountiful High play for the State Championship. It was exciting, they won, and yup, it was a PRETTY BIG DEAL.

This girl is having teeth issues… Braces are coming in the next couple weeks, but first she needed to have some teeth pulled. She needed two on the bottom pulled to make room for the permanent teeth coming in, and since she was drugged up and sleeping, they pulled a loose baby tooth on top to get it out of the way. 3 teeth total.
Here she is before...

Drugged up on the car ride home… What a funny girl when she's loopy.

Then she came home and slept for hours. Usually Morgan is a mess when it comes to things like this. (Even just a flu shot puts her over the top and into hysterics). But thanks to a great pediatric dentist, some good drugs, and her being tougher than usual, she was an amazing patient. The fact that she drank the nasty medicine cocktail without throwing it up or us having to sit on her and force it down her throat was a huge feat. She was a champ and I was so, so proud of her. It definitely was a PRETTY BIG DEAL!

Morgan's grade put on an animal walk where each student wrote a report on a different animal and then displayed their work for others to come see. Morgan spent a lot of time on her project and did a great job. She did her project on the Cottontail Rabbit completely by herself and that was a PRETTY BIG DEAL!

See what time it is on this clock… Why is that a PRETTY BIG DEAL you ask? Well, let me tell you. It's 7:26 AM on Sunday Morning and Meg was still sleeping in her very own bed. Yes, she stayed in her own bed all night. There was never a little pitter-patter of feet at 1 am or 3 am or 5 am or whenever it is she woke up and wanted to crawl into bed with us.
She is the sweetest. I actually love when this squishy little girl climbs into bed with me and I can cuddle her up, but it was really nice to have an entire night of sleep without interruption. For us it was a PRETTY DANG BIG DEAL!
