Happy New Year

family scripture study

Family scripture study is one of my favorite times of the day!  Bishop Redding challenged our ward to ready the Book of Mormon before he end of the year... He gave us 3 months and I think we needed to read around 8 pages a day to accomplish it.  Our family was faithful and read every night (we missed a few days, but did double duty the next day).  It was an amazing experience! I couldn't believe how faithful we were and how great the kids were about doing it.  It felt amazing to do that together in such a short time.  I know our family was blessed for it and we definitely grew closer together.

Temple Square Lights

Mike's out of town traveling for work, but we decided we couldn't wait to see the lights at temple square.  I was brave and took 7 kids all by myself. 

Meg's dance recital

Meg did a beautiful job at her dance recital with Mrs Michelle.  Bravo!!

Princess camp

A couple of the neighbor girls (Julia Whitney and Kate Neilson) held a princess camp and donated the proceeds to sub for santa.  The girls were so excited and came home looking beautiful :) . Well, Meg looked beautiful... Ivy was a little bit terrifying :)

Last Piano Recital with Kristen Spere

The kids had their last piano recital with Kristen Spere.  She's been such a wonderful, kind teacher.  We fully support her in her decision to take time away from teaching to focus on being a mom, but we are sad to move on.
