Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day!!  You're a daddy to 5 people - crazy!
Mike sure is loved by each one of them.  He is the most loving, playful, hard working, generous father around.  I'm glad he's the man that's the daddy to my children.
What an adorable group.

Father's Day nap at the Father's Day party.  Hey, you can do whatever you want, wherever you want when you're a father on Father's Day!

Ivy's gift to daddy was Jimmy Fallon's new book...  I have to say I was a little disappointed with it, but when Mike read it to the kids they were all cracking up.
I'm sure Ivy's first word will be Dada thanks to Jimmy Fallon.

They're #1

Look at this group....  You're looking at this year's Flag Football UNDEFEATED Champions for the 8 year old league.  They are #1 baby!!

Miles with Dane and Cole Nadauld.  We can't have enough Nadauld friends!

Will loses a tooth

Will lost his first tooth...  Well his first tooth that fell out naturally anyway.  (Not counting his top tooth that was pulled out after his pool accident.)
Congrats Will.  You're getting so big!  Even though Will misplaced his tooth and didn't have it to put under his pillow, the tooth fairy still found him :)

He sure loves his baby sister...  I found Ivy like this.
He was clear that he was just letting her hold it for a minute, she couldn't keep it :)

Dehner Babies... Side by side

It's been fun to see how Ivy fits the little Mike & Amber baby mold.  Our kids definitely have a look.
Sometimes we will look at her and say, "you look just like Meg" and then 5 minutes later she'll pull a face and we'll say "you look just like Will"...  So we decided to pull up baby pictures of all the kids side by side to see just who she looks like the most...
Can you tell who is who???
This is a picture of all our babies within a few days of birth...

Below is a picture of all of their hair...  Ivy and Will win for the most black hair. (Will is in the bottom right pictures...  He had a lot of black hair in the back!)
Morgan was the most blond (top left).  And Meg was pretty bald with just a little dark hair (bottom left).  I had to use this picture of Miles because I love his old man face.
I love our swing.  We just put new batteries in it so the music would work...  Mike and I both commented on how much we love the music. (It has to be because of the memories and emotions it stirs up because the music isn't that great :)  I am such a baby mama.... I can't get enough of these little people!

Ivy's 2nd week...

Ivy made it through another week…  It's not like it was hard, she basically slept through the entire week.  She's such a sleepy-head :)
But when she's awake, she's the cutest thing ever!!  (let's face it - she the cutest when she sleeps too!)

All the kids are completely in love with her.  We really needed to have 4 babies at our house so everyone can hold one all the time….   One baby isn't enough to go around.

Sleeping next to daddy….  I'm so sneaky with my camera phone :)

I just wish my iPhone took better pictures… Oh well, it's just so convenient to take pictures with that instead of pulling out my camera…
Watching the sunset with daddy.

Miles was holding Ivy in the rocking chair and when I came to check on them, he had put Ivy in her crib and taken pictures of her…  He said he didn't like that she hasn't tried out her crib yet.
She is pretty cute in there.

The kids have been playing with all the neighbor kids like crazy this summer.  I love all the noise in the backyard!

Mike heard me mention that I thought the new cloth baby wraps are cool so, being the nice guy that he is, he ordered me one.  I love it and Ivy loves it.  It's perfect for our walks and little outings.

Sleepy-head!

She loves the car seat….  Good thing, there is always somewhere we need to take someone.  So far she is super mellow and easy to take around.  Please, please stay that way!

The weeding supervisors :)

Evening walks…  Still loving the wrap!

Same eyes as her sisters… Blue as blue.  I'm sure they'll turn hazel like the other two in a couple of years.

Back to sleep… Did I mention she loves to sleep??

They are definitely sisters....

When Meg was a few days old we took a picture of her in a cute little hat AnnDee gave her...
So I took one at the same age with Ivy...  I think they look like sisters!!!
Here's Meg:

Here's Ivy:

Ivy was more interested in trying to eat the hat...

Morgan turns 11

This goof-ball just turned 11.

Morgan decided for her birthday that she wanted to take her BFF Kate to get a pedicure.  How adorable are these girls… I can't believe she'll be in young women's next year…. CRAZY!

Look at those adorable toes. Morgan's toes are on the bottom :)

Then we met up with the fam for some frozen yogurt at Sip n Swirl…. So yummy!

Present time!

She LOVES her birthday pillowcase.  Grammie sure knows how to make these kids happy on their birthdays!

Morgan wanted some sort of chocolate and cheesecake for her cake… She is definitely MY girl.

Dad is just like the brothers… Always teasing!

We went for a family birthday stroll…

She had a birthday lunch and shopping date with Grandma & Grandpa…  Morgan picked Johnny Rockets for lunch.  YUM!

Then they were off to Claires on a purse and wallet hunt.  (Look at the adorable outfit I gave her… The rompers that are so in right now are my favorite on her… Why can't I look cute in something like that…)

They found a purse and wallet!  Good choice Morgan!  Mint green chevron was a perfect selection!

A few birthday selfies while waiting for mom to finish feeding Ivy so she could open presents….

I love this one!  So cute…

I love it so much I had to zoom in so you could see Meg's duck lips…
Perfect toddler lips to smooch on :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MORGAN! Best big sister ever!!!

Will turns 6

Will is the cutest 6 year old around!  He loves Star Wars and really wanted an Anakin Skywalker costume for his birthday.  I love when they are so easy to please.  Miles and Will have been "battling" all week long.  Miles never got into Star Wars, but he's being a good sport about playing along with Will.

Since I just came home from the hospital with Ivy the day before his birthday, I wasn't feeling up to throwing a party… Thank goodness Kristen came to the rescue.  Will and his buddy Nels have the same birthday and for the past 3 years they've had their party together.  Kristen called and said "Let's have the dads take their primary class bowling"…  Brilliant!  The dads loaded a bunch of kids into the Mickelson's party van and off they went.  Pure genius!  The dads are always more fun at that kind of stuff anyway!

Cake time!  (Kristen provided the cake and everything….  It was so nice of her to let Will tag along.  (And I got to stay home and snuggle Ivy!  I was the real winner that day!)

Will loves his birthday Star Wars pillowcase from Grandma & Grandpa Dehner!

Birthday lunch and shopping with Grandma and Grandpa!
After a couple hours of dragging Grandma and Grandpa to a few stores, Will finally decided on a Star Wars Lego set…  I think he wore them out that day :)  He definitely has my decision making skills (or lack of them!)  It's hard being so indecisive…

It took a few hours to build, but they got through it :)

The finished product.  He LOVES it!

I sure love this boy of mine.  He is creative, fun, and very loving.  Here he is taking a selfie of his ghost buster self…  When he isn't Anakin Skywalker, he can usually be found as a ghost buster.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILL!  Love you!
