I've been trying to distract myself with little things... I've never been so on top of laundry. Seriously, I've finally mastered it. It's my biggest source of pride lately. Since we've moved here the hampers are never full and laundry gets put right away. It makes me happy (sad I know).
Anyway, we decided to have the girls share a room so that nobody has to move to the basement. Mike and I like having the kid's rooms close to ours, so that means the boys share and the girls share. Morgan is thrilled to have the baby in with her, and since she can sleep through anything, I think it will work out fine.
I decided to put the girl's names over their beds, and since letters are so dang expensive (between $15-20+ per letter), I decided to make some myself. Here's a glimpse of Morgan's... (obviously not on the wall yet). And the best part - both names together cost me under 30 bucks to make.
Sneak peak at baby's name... I'm only giving you one letter - but now you know there is an "E" in her name. That's all I'm saying :) This is a different name than the one we decided on a couple months ago... Totally new!
Another thing that makes me excited for this baby to come is my recent purchases... A new car seat and diaper bag. YAY!
I've been spending a lot of time researching car seats, but I finally made a decision and ordered one. (Diapers.com is awesome if you haven't used it before!!) Our old car seat made it through 3 kids and it's definitely outdated and must be put to rest. I can't believe how amazing this car seat is. I love the feel of the fabric - I just want to climb in myself and take a little nap :) And this diaper bag I found at pottery barn is exactly what I was looking for! It clips around the stroller people - no more stuffing it underneath in the little basket. With my sit and stand stroller (which I absolutely love by the way! Best kind of stroller when you have a baby and toddler!) that was a huge problem for me last time around.
BUT, just when I start getting really anxious for this baby to come, this little guy brings me back to reality... Another baby means eventually another toddler... And that I can wait another 6 weeks for :) Today I found Will on the top shelf in our pantry looking for the stash of fruit roll-ups I hide for Morgan's lunch. Busted!
Along with my car seat came these lovely products... A few more reasons I am okay with waiting a little longer!!!
Too much info??
