Happy Halloween

Unfortunately Mike is traveling again this week (in Asia again) so he missed out on the Halloween fun, but don't worry, we sent him pictures and kept him in the loop.
This year Meg was a baker and Ivy was Owlette from PJ Masks.  They looked adorable!
The Keddingtons next door have been so great with our kids.  They invited them over for the Halloween party they were having for their grandkids.  Meg and Ivy were thrilled!  Ivy sometimes calls them Grandma and Grandpa next door. 😁 We love our neighbors.
Grandma Beckstead had her traditional Halloween party and Cayden and Cameron walked in looking like this... It freaked the little girls out, but I thought it was the best costumes I've ever seen. 😂
We also went to the ward Trunk or Treat.  I lugged Ivy around since she can't walk.  She's wearing me out, but I'm glad she's still small enough for me to carry around.
We also had the school parade.  Notice I only have a picture of Meg at the school parade... That's because Will HATES dressing up for Halloween.  He's been that way for a few years now.  He ended up staying home during the parade and then checked into school after the parade was over.  I think it's such a funny thing about him, but it's not something I'm going to force on him.  There is no reason he should have to dress up and parade around for everyone to look at.  I just think it's a little odd, most kids love to dress up.  Will just hates attention like that.
Ivy was sad she couldn't go trick or treating for very long, but she loved handing out the candy.  Miles was such a great brother and carried her to the houses on our street.  He brought her back and said, "I don't know how you've been carrying her around for so long. That's hard. You're awesome mom".   To which I replied, "I know right!" 😜
I was so happy to see Grant come by our house and ask Will to go trick-or-treating with him.  Will wasn't going to go and he didn't even have a costume, but Grant talked him into finding something and joining him.  Will threw on a basketball jersey and off they went.  I'm so glad he did, they had the best time! They were gone forever and Grant's mom sent me this picuture of all their loot!  Nice haul!
