My life... and a couple pictures of Meg because I always have to add some of those in!

I don't know what it is about having a 4th child, but holy moly, it's a TON of work. It feels like 4 is twice (if not 3 times) as hard as 3. Heck 3 kids sounds like a vacation :) And my baby is super easy - I can't imagine what life would be like with a fussy, more challenging baby. Maybe it's because all 4 of my kids are on different schedules - full day school, half day kindergarten, toddler, and infant... I think next year when Miles is in all day school it will be much easier. Or maybe it's because Mike's job is demanding and he's not around as much. Or maybe it's just because this is life and it's supposed to be hard. Whatever the reason, some days I feel like I'll never catch up. Good thing I love my kids and wouldn't trade it for anything. It's just hard at times and that's all there is to it.

One of the hardest things about life for me right now is finding time and a desire to exercise. I started running a couple months ago, and it has been killing me to be consistent. I'll go a couple times and then let a week or two pass before going again. I just can't find my rhythm. And I forgot just how hard it is to run. It's hard, it's painful, it's daunting. And 4 kids really took a toll on my body - and I'm getting old. I'm going to have to work that much harder to get back to where I was. It just doesn't sound fun.

But I desperately want to be back. Terribly! And I'm finally at a place where I want it enough to do something about it. I've started making myself push through the misery and I've finally reached a new level. After 2 months I was finally able to run 4 miles without stopping. It felt so good (even though it's ridiculous how slow I am! It looks like I'm walking really). Oh well, I'm on my way. Now I just need to turn up the heat and add a little pressure. I am going to sign up for a half marathon in July and start a training schedule. It may possibly kill me, only time will tell :)

Anyway, I'm trying to organize my life. Since I feel like time is something I have very little of, I realized I need to use every little bit I have being productive. So you may have noticed we aren't friends on facebook any more... Don't take it personally. I just had to eliminate all the time suckers out of my life. I can't have anything around that will tempt me to waste the precious time I have.

I will however keep blogging since I do feel like that is important. I love journaling and I know my kids will love looking back at their young lives.

Like my cute little Meg. She loves her exersaucer and looks adorable in it!

And she has found her feet! She just bends right in half!

I love watching my babies suck their little toes!

He's Still Got It

It's March - so you know what that means... March Madness... At least you know it if you live in this house. It may be Mike's favorite time of the year.
It always takes him back to his glory days and he gets that itch to play ball. I have to say the man still has the moves.

Miles desperately wants to follow in his daddy's footsteps.
A little ball after church in his church socks and shirt.
So our ward basketball team rocked this year. They went undefeated all season and went to regionals. Unfortunately Mike was out of town for work for the first playoff game and they lost by a couple points. What a bummer.
I took a couple pictures during a game and they turned out sooo blurry. I had my camera set on the action setting, but for some reason they didn't turn out. I'm bummed because there was some sweet shots... If you know why, please do tell. I can't figure it out.

It was fun to watch these old men in action. While I was watching a group of guys came in and I overhead them talking about how awesome Mike's team is. They kept saying, Man these guys don't miss... He did our ward proud!

Tubby Time

Funny Will

This kid cracks me up.  He is especially funny about going potty these days since it is his latest trick...  He doesn't want the potty seat anymore, and when he got on, he put his bum all the way in the toilet until it touched the water.  I tried to show him to sit higher, but he insisted.  WEIRD-O!
It's been warm outside and he's been loving all the playtime out there. So much so that he won't even come in to go potty... He goes anywhere he wants.  We are going to fix this problem!  Believe me!!
I just can't help but think he's adorable!

St Patty Fun

On St Patricks Day of course we had a green breakfast... Green pancakes, green milk and green eggs with ham!
Then a little lepracon sent the kids on a hunt for the gold.

I had pictures of all the stops, but blogger deleted them.. I still can't figure out this new blogger.  I think it has something to do with my mac, but I can't seem to figure out how to move pictures around and write where I want to write.  I'm ready to scream and throw this computer out the window... For now, I'm just leaving the deleted pictures out instead of uploading them again...grrr...
The treasure... Green pop rocks and gold rolos. Sweet.
No treats for little Meg yet, but she made sure she had her blanket with green in it with her at all times.  She didn't want to be pinched!

Meg's 4 months old

Meg is 4 months!  I can't believe it, yet I can't remember life without her.  She is happy all the time and wants to eat all the time.  She's still eating about every 2-3 hours around the clock... It's starting to take a toll on me, but she got the green light to start cereal, so hopefully that will help.  Really she's just spoiled!  Here are Meg's 4 month stats:  24 3/4" long and 12 pounds.  She's long and lean!

A neighbor gave us some little outfits for Meg that she finally fits into and I love them!!  Look at the little cuff ruffle!  I love girls!

Have I ever mentioned that Will has to be touching Meg if he's in the same room with her... It's sweet, but  really annoying at times!

When I logged into Blogger apparently it's been updated.  I'm not sure if I like it.... Really it's more that this girl does not like change.    I guess I better get used to it...
Anyway, we haven't slept through the night here in I couldn't tell you how long.  I'd be embarrassed to tell you how long even if I knew. We don't have control of our children!  This little guys comes into our room dragging his pillow every single night.  (It's kind of cute. Sometimes.)

If it's morning we pull him up into bed and cuddle away.  Both my boys love to cuddle and I have to take advantage of that before they are big and don't want their mama anymore.
Grumpy Will.

That's better :)
I am happy to say that Will is completely potty trained.  He's gone to church for two weeks now in underwear and hasn't hasn't had an accident in over 11 days...
I sure am glad he put on some snow boots for all that snow.
Cute Miles.  Last week they had a cowboy day at school and he couldn't wait to wear his mustache!
Here is the main reason we don't sleep around here.  Meg's still up a couple (sometimes a few) times every night.  Somehow by morning she's always in our bed.  I'm not complaining - this is what I see when I wake up.  Pretty darn adorable.
