Swig Girl Morgan 🥤

Morgan got a job this summer!  She applied a few places and everyone wanted her (Keva Juice, Bahama Bucks, and Swig).  Of course they did!!   Her top pick was Swig and she was so happy when they hired her.   

I was happy too because I love seeing this face at the window!!   (And Morgan surprises her mama with a Diet Coke WiKiKi all the time. 💗 She loves me!) 

GET SALTED by Miles

Mike helped Miles set up a little business. Pretty exciting!  Miles is offering a monthly subscription to neighbors to take care of their water softeners.   He buys the salt and then refills their softener for them.   It’s a pretty good deal. $5 monthly service fee plus $5 per bag of salt.

Miles then went door to door and started building his clientele.   He got about a dozen takers.  I mean how cool is that flier?  Mike is awesome! 

It will be a fun little side job for him.  (Maybe not during the winter  😬).  He’s excited to fill their water softener with salt and then on his way out the door say, “you’ve been salted!”.

Ivy begs all the time to pick up “Bay-Bay”.  They really are best buddies! 

Time for a walk...  

It takes FOREVER to get around the loop because they stop at every shady spot and take a rest.  

We’ve taught him to “shake”.   He’s so smart and picked up on it immediately.  

Family hikes with Bailey. It’s fun having joint custody of a puppy!  

Someone really needs a shower... and a haircut!  

Bear Lake with The Hiatts- Part 2 ✌️ 🐻 🤎

Mike and I got to sneak out early a couple of mornings and go for a ride.   We climbed to an overlook spot the first day and then we rode up to the Minnetonka Cake the 2nd day (that was my favorite ride!).

A trip to Bear Lake isn’t complete without Raspberry  Milkshakes!!  

Miles and the annoying, squeaky chickens.  The workers wanted us out of there! 

We had to try the milkshakes at Chevron since everyone says that’s the best place...  We left feeling like we probably caught the Rona, but glad we didn’t!   The shakes there surprisingly were the best around!  

Every night we played games and ate tons of treats!  My kind of vacation! 

Meg scored the jackpot both times on the left/right/middle game!  Quarters and candy galore!  Nice Meg!!

Bear Lake with the Hiatts 🐻 🤎 Part 1

The Hiatts took us to Bear Lake with them for a few days.  They were so generous to let us tag along on their family vacation!  The cousins adore each other and had the best time ever!  I have so many pictures it’s making me break it into two posts! 😜

The day at the beach was one of the highlights.  Steve’s friend has a cabin on the lake and he let us use the yard for the day.   Score!  No people and no corona for us! 

Even on vacation Mike can’t get away from work.  Poor guy!  

Nobody loves a seashell as much as Meggie!  (Or would it be a lake shell??  🤷🏻‍♀️)

Miles is so proud of how tall he’s getting. He does whatever he can to look taller.  I spy someone on their tippy-toes.  😂

Steve’s friend even came up and took us out on his boat!

After the lake we got the Monster Pizza- the biggest pizza in the world!  It did not disappoint!  🍕 

It was so big the kids ripped up the pizza box and used the pieces as sleds! 😳 😂🤣😂

On day two we went to the Minnetonka Cave.   Always awesome!  Even with masks and having to split into two groups for social distancing, the kids loved it.
