Little Jazz Fan

Last week some friends of ours took Miles and Mike to see a Jazz Game. Miles has officially been sucked into basketball and even though they were on the second to last row in the arena, he loved every second of it!!

There is even a player on the Jazz with the last name of Miles, so of course he had to have this jersey. He wears it to school almost everyday and won't even take it off to go to bed. (I grab it whenever I can and throw it in the wash!)

Our Little Dancer

This week Morgan had her dance recital. She was lovely.

She has a little bit of her mama in her, and she was a nervous wreck all day. She called from school and I had to pick her up because she was sick just thinking about it. One great thing about Morgan is that even though she gets nervous she never lets it hold her back.

Miles loved watching his big sister and I could tell he was really proud of her too. Meg and Will did not do so well, but at least Morgan was one of the first performances so we all got to see it before we had to chase after Will in the hallway.

I was surprised at how graceful Morgan has become over the past year. She did a fantastic job! Way to go Morgan.

Grammie - are you there??

This is Meg typing... Thank you Grammie Dehner for this fun outfit. I finally fit it! Don't I look amazing in hot pink. It's my mom's favorite.

And the jacket was perfect today in the rain. The ears kept making people smile.

And it tastes good too!

She Eats!

Here she is. She had no idea that sweet potato deliciousness was quickly coming her way. (And yes, I know most people start with rice cereal, but we are on #4 and we can do whatever we want!)

She was only interested for a few bites and then started spitting it. I love watching my babies try things for the first time.

Of course the kids got new church clothes... And of course we hurried and snapped a few pictures before 9 am church...

Meg finally said ENOUGH!

A couple pictures of our spring break...

We didn't do much of anything for spring break. It was wonderful!!

We did have a glow in the dark easter egg hunt with the cousins at Aunt Brooke's house. Fun.

We hiked and the kids got little sun tans.

I tried taking a picture of Mike and the kids on our hike but took a video instead....

And we chilled... a lot. I loved having the kids around all day. (but I am ready for school to start back up!)

It may be time for new shoes...

I don't know what's in this kids cheerios, but he has more energy than anyone I know. About a month ago I noticed all his pants were falling apart so I went and bought him a few new pairs of thick jeans (hoping that would help with the holes in the knees). Well, he's had these pants for a month and look at them (the holes started only two weeks after buying them). I think I need to start putting patches under the knees before he wears them. I need to get more than a month out of pants. And his shoes, do you see his big toe in there? He has socks on, but there are holes in his socks too.

Look how he's worn off the soles. I love it. It shows me this kid plays hard. I guess we need to go shoe shopping.
