What an absolutely crazy month for us! We decided to put our house up for sale by owner the same weekend that Will was getting baptized, we had 11 house guests staying at our house, and we were heading out to our family reunion. We just felt like we needed to do it that weekend... And I've learned when you feel like you should do something, it's a good idea to do it!
Well, we ended up getting a call within a day or two (can't remember - should have written it down closer to the event) that someone wanted to see our house and while we were on vacation they went through our house and before we knew it we were in contract. It was nuts! (and totally meant to be!)
Now here are some highlights from the Garlock Reunion:
I took Ivy for a walk and she insisted on blowing every single one of these that we could find. The cutest!! They were as big as her head!
Cousins!
I sneaked away for a couple of runs and Mike took me on my first 50 mile bike ride. So pretty!
We had to act out some fun moments from Grandpa Gordons life... It's always fun to learn some family history and help the kids see where they came from.
Mike liked LaBeaus Raspberry shakes the best... I thought Zipz was the best... We may need to go back and try them again just to be sure.
Morning run with the bears.
After Bear Lake we headed back to Bountiful with all the Dehners (minus the Seymours).
Breakfast at Kneaders while we had to be out of the house for a showing! I had to hurry and clean up and make it look like there weren't 11 house guests staying there. Looking back, it was totally crazy... We seem to do things that way more often than not :) But it sold and we couldn't be happier to move into our new house up the street!
