Christmas Eve at Grandma’s was as great as always!! It was sad without Grandpa and we missed him terribly (he LOVED Christmas Eve with his family and I missed his laugh), but Grandma threw an amazing party!

When twins show up looking like twins without coordinating. The magic of twins!! 😂
The cousin gift exchange - over 40 people in one room 😂. We did all the usual traditions: Julenissa, almond in the rice pudding, cousin gifts, a new tradition of everyone picking a mystery box to open and seeing what fun surprises grandma came up with, and lots of laughing, visiting and eating.
Then we went home to Christmas Jammies from William.

After games we settled down and watched the Natavity movie the church put out a few years ago. It’s our favorite. This year was neat for me to watch it touch Will so much. He came to me after and we talked about how strongly he felt the Spirit testify to him that it really happened and Jesus was born. Those are the moments we live for! There is nothing sweeter in the world than seeing your child have a genuine testimony building experience. This is the one we love called “The Christ Child” form 2019.
Then it was bedtime. The kids all had a sleepover in Morgan’s room. She makes everything so fun! (Except Miles slept in his own room- party pooper!)

We may have spoiled the kids this year…. Mike has learned that I always overdo it on presents. I just can’t help myself. But look at their faces!!!
Meg got a Razor EcoSmart Metro Electric Scooter so she can zip around the neighborhood. I thought it would be perfect with her ankle problems - more on that soon!
Ivy got the electric Moped she’s been begging for. She was so surprised!! Look at her face when she saw the back wheel poking out from the blanket.
The older kids got a pile of stuff with shoes always on the top. Shoes are always the favorite thing with these kids.
This year Miles also got a 3 week humanitarian trip to Apia, Samoa 🇼🇸 . Excited to see him go on that adventure!
The girls spent the morning riding in circles around the kitchen. These are going to be awesome toys. I’m a little nervous - they have some power!
Will modeling his new Buckeyes Jersey and Air Jordan 1 Lows in the ice blue… such a styling kid!!
